INretail launches Retail Studies

Opportunities for self-improvement within (fashion) retail are growing thanks to the launch this month of Retail Studies by Dutch fashion trade organisation INretail.

The organisation has extended its brand new knowledge and information portal WerkindeWinkel.nl (translation:Work in the Shop) with a new component called Retail Studies. This will allow those working in fashion, footwear, sports or home retail to continue to improve their skills and their opportunities in the job market.

To this end, WerkindeWinkel.nl joined forces with SkillsTown, the biggest provider of online eduction solutions, to provide a select number of teaching modules geared towards retail. “This type of online learning is well suited to those working in retail,” says SkillsTown CEO Hans Schuurmans. “Thanks to INretail’s expertise, this provides a good addition to our current offering.”

With the creation of Retail Studies, INretail hopes to be able to contribute to the longevity of retail professionals and to give them control over their career development.
