Fashion Scout, the showcase for emerging talent, has named Angel Chen, J Moon, Kim Stevenson and Minju Kim as its autumn/winter 2015 Ones To Watch designers.

Selected from a shortlist of 50 designers by a panel of industry experts, including fashion editor Hilary Alxander, Judith Tolley of the CFE London, Fashion Scout alumni Georgia Hardinge, and Ones to Watch stylist Rebekah Roy, the designers will all receive a slot in the Ones to Watch catwalk showcase in addition to exhibition space during London Fashion Week.

Graduating from Central Saint Martins' BA this year, Chen has been honing her skills with Marchesa and Vera Wang, as her work is expressed through her bold use of colours with a romantic and eccentric character in mind.

Moon also graduated this year from London College of Fashion and her newly launched womenswear label tests the conventional boundaries between texture, colour and shape to create playful and experimental garments.

The third finalist is Australian designer Stevenson, a graduate from the University of East London who showcased at Graduate Fashion Week back in June. Stevenson is a heavily textile-based designer and takes into account ethical sourcing into her clothing.

The final recipient is H&M Design Award 2013 winner, South Korean-born Kim, who recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Her designs can already be found stocked in Opening Ceremony and she was also shortlisted for the LVMH prize.

Fashion Scout Director Martyn Roberts said: “For AW15/16 we have had the strongest ever response of amazing talent from all over the globe, after a tough decision we are excited to be able to provide an unrivalled opportunity for these four new international designers to present with Fashion Scout.”

British Fashion Council's Kendall Robbins, who sat on the panel, added: "It was really exciting to see so much talent from the UK and from across the world shortlisted this year. It really demonstrates the importance of London as an international fashion hub."

Previous recipients of Fashion Scout's Ones To Watch accolade have included Eudon Choi and Phoebe English.

The Ones to Watch showcase will take place during London Fashion Week running from February 20-24 at Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden.
