La Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la mode/ The Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion (FHCM) is an organization responsible for promoting French fashion internationally. It was created in 1868 under the name of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture, Confectionneurs et des Tailleurs pour Dame. The mission of the FHCM is to consolidate the reputation of Paris in its role as the fashion capital of the world.
The FHCM provides its members and emerging labels with information, advice and an innovative network of partnerships. Brands receive support through commissions, ad hoc working groups and individual meetings. The FHCM aims to prepare and support the young designers and emerging fashion brands of tomorrow. Ensuring the reputation of French brands and their international visibility is a key point.
