The British Fashion Council and Boden have announced the launch of Future British, a new collaborative initiative which will support new British designers across men's, women's or accessories as they build their businesses.

The 2015 recipients are Caitlin Charles-Jones, Le Kilt's Samantha McCoach and Camilla Elphick who will each receive mentoring, guidance and access to Boden's leadership team as well as financial support over a 12 month period.

Winners will benefit from business mentoring

The British Fashion Council will provide additional support through the BFC Fashion Business Network, with the winning designers receiving business development and mentoring from partners across all business areas.

The BFC and the British brand will select the designers and, over a year, these brands will receive help and guidance in product development, brand identity, public relations and marketing.

They will also be awarded access and support from Boden’s team including chairman Johnnie Boden, chief executive officer Julian Granville, product director Matthew Hilgeman and global brand director Penny Herriman.

“Future British is an exciting collaboration between Boden and the BFC, highlighting young, product-driven designers to a new audience,” said British Fashion Councilchief executive officer Caroline Rush. “Utilizing the resources and infrastructure of Boden, Future British aims to help young talent create great product at a good price point to establish viable business models, and ultimately, successful brands.”
