New Talent Design Competition announces winner at THFW

At the end of The Hague Fashion Week (THFW) that took place from October 14-17, with its first physical edition, the winner of the New Talent Design Competition in collaboration with telephone manufacturer Xiaomi was announced, Rosalie Boonstra.

The jury including singer Lakshmi, couturier Pieter Paul Verberne, fashion designer Sjaak Hullekes and Xiaomi's country manager Daisy Hu, said in a statement that her designs were: “extremely feminine, very elegant and technically strong.” Boonstra won an investment prize of 2,500 euros.

Fashion designers including Marco Stefano Pintus, Michelangelo Winklaar, Natalie van de Klashorst, Studio HIEM and others also showed off their latest collections during the fashion shows in The Student Hotel and the Grote Kerk.

As well as established designers, upcoming designers including the following: Ko Bo, Nicole Plender, Shenny Cijntje and Zoë La Rivière presented their designs during the fashion week.
