Discover Paris American Academy

For over fifty years Paris American Academy has welcomed students from all around the world to help them achieve greatness in Fashion design. Our students are taught by former employees of Haute Couture maisons such as Courrèges, Nina Ricci, Yves Saint-Laurent, or Madame Grès, to only name a few.

Students have the opportunity to choose between three different courses: 3- year Bachelor program, semester program (from September to December or from January to May), or summer workshops (one session in June and one session in July). They also get a unique opportunity to attend Paris Fashion Week backstage and help dress the models.

The philosophy of the school centers on stimulating creativity and imagination, guiding the student towards their own personal creative vision while teaching them the practical knowledge and skills needed in the professional arts world. Centered in the famous Latin Quarter, less than a mile from Notre-Dame Cathedral and a few blocks from the Luxembourg Gardens, Paris American Academy draws upon Paris’s vibrant cultural and artistic heritage, stretching its campus across the city’s museums, exhibits, cafés, and design houses.
