The Green Carpet Talent finalists, announced yesterday, presented designs using a variety of sustainable goods, including recycled polyester, jute coffee bags and sequins laser cut to used plastic bottles. The competition, part of The Green Carpet Fashion Awards, Italia, challenges designers worldwide to redefine sustainability in fashion.

This year, the finalists competing for the ultimate prize include David Grillo and Wrad. Only one of them will get The Franca Sozzani GCC Emerging Designer Award on the stage at La Scala, as well as the opportunity to present at Milan Fashion Week in February 2019, supported by the Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana.
