Parsons Paris offers an extraordinary American education in a European creative capital, building on the curriculum of The New School’s Parsons School of Design—the only major design school situated within a comprehensive university. Students become part of a collaborative atelier that fosters interdisciplinary study in small classes taught in English. They develop the creative and critical thinking skills needed to address social, economic, and environmental challenges in emerging and established fields involving fashion design, management, art and technology, and critical research. Curricula are shared by Parsons’ campuses in Paris and New York City, enabling students to develop a global perspective by drawing on the resources and teaching traditions unique to Europe and the United States. At Parsons Paris, students are surrounded by landmarks of the city’s cultural heritage, including the Louvre and the Gaîté Lyrique media arts center, and have access to many historic libraries and archives.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is awarded upon completion of 120 credits, as designated by the program. A maximum of 60 credits can be transferred. Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and fulfill all requirements in a timely manner.
