June 2015 same-store sales at Uniqlo Japan, part of the Fast Retailing Group, decreased by 11.7 percent year on year and sales at its directly-run stores decreased by 11.5 percent.
Total sales including online sales decreased by 10.9 percent. The company said that same-store sales dipped year on year in June, due to summer ranges struggling to attract as many buyers in the cooler weather. The company opened one Uniqlo store in Japan and closed two during the month.
