New York - Bucket bags are still going strong as the trending bag style of the moment. Burberry is not only capitalizing on their popularity by offering bucket bags, but, also, having them arrive early in stores. The initiative, titled "12 Bucket Bags", hit stores early ahead of their ready-to-wear collection on June 12.
12 styles were pre-launched at several Burberry flagships, including locations in New York, London, Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Osaka. Some of the style offerings include the animal-print suede fringe, and suede, and suede fringe and animal print done in assorted color ways including olive, cognac, black, navy, and racing green. The price points for the collection range from 2150 dollars to 2795 dollars.
The full line of the bags is expected to follow next month in July. While Business Insider has reported that Burberry's stock has been tanking due to various factors, including fluctuating currency in Europe, even though they have stupendous sales figures. As a result, Burberry is being very careful with their stocks, and they are doing their best to capitalize on strong markets, hence launching the bags early in their flagship stores.
