Italian sneaker brand Superga is launching a unisex called Artifact by Superga. Designed in collaboration with Japanese designer Teppei Sugaya, Artifact derives its name from the Italian equivalent, ‘Artefatto’.

The range pays tribute to the 100 years of experience that Superga has in shoemaking, including its signature textured bumper that is turned 45° compared to the usual. The foxing is glued to the upper with a fudge wheel pressure that guarantees excellent adherence. The cotton shoelaces have a waxed effect for extra grip and durability. The collection’s heel patch logo has been designed to echo the one of Superga tennis shoes from the ‘50s and provides the new silhouettes with an authentic look.

The idea behind the collection is to create an archive of artifacts focusing on a the product from embellishment to enhance its essentiality.

The collection launches in the US on April 10th.
