Burberry launches new fragrance via Facebook

British fashion brand Burberry is launching its latest fragrance, Burberry Body via Facebook with a sampling campaign to its 8 million Facebook followers. The scent, described by

Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey as "the most exciting launch that we have ever created", is inviting fans to visit the Burberry Body tab on its Facebook Page to request a free sample, which will be posted internationally.

Burberry launches new fragrance via FacebookThe social media initiative was announced by Bailey via the brand’s YouTube channel, as well as on the Facebook page.

The campaign follows New York-based luxury label Oscar de la Renta, who earlier this year also used Facebook to launch its first fragrance in 10 years.
