Lifestyle label Gant announced it will refresh its website to offer customers an improved online shopping experience. The new format will see elements of the existing e-commerce site developed further to meet Gant’s fashion values.In line with these values, Gant’s site will also be providing an online platform to debut the new Michael Bastian collaboration, as well as the men’s Gant Rugger collection. These two menswear ranges will have dedicated themed sections on the site, each with their own specific visuals indicating the points of difference of these additional ranges.
Devised to coincide with the launch of the A/W 10 season, the new e-commerce site will present consumers with an effortless browsing experience. The implementation of left hand navigation enables the consumer a more efficient and practical shopping encounter. ‘Shop The Look’ will be further developed with catwalk imagery, demonstrating ways of styling multiple Gant products into outfits for specific occasions.
Gant’s values are based on its authentic American East Coast heritage, dating back to its inception in New Haven, USA in 1949. Since then the brand has been further developed, taking influence from Europe, and has a global presence in over 60 countries with close to 600 stores and 4.000 selected retailers. The collections comprise clothes for men, women and kids. In addition, watches, footwear, eyewear, fragrance and home furnishings are licensed under the Gant brand.
