Reitmans (Canada) Limited has appointed Anita Sehgal, Julie Filion and Gillian Reitman as new members of its board.

Sehgal has over 25 years of experience in marketing, strategy and customer service in the retail industry, and is currently the senior vice president of marketing and communications for the Houston Astros of the National Baseball League.

Filion is the head of marketing, e-commerce at Sobeys and was previously chief marketing officer for Door.com and ID.me, and vice president and head of e-commerce and digital marketing at MoneyGram International.

Reitman, a fourth-generation member of the founding family, spent five years at Tory Burch, rising to the position of senior director of corporate strategy. She has also previously held positions at Ralph Lauren and Secor Consultancy (now within KPMG).

Meanwhile, current members Robert S. Vineberg and Howard Stotland are both retiring from the board.

Reitmans president and CEO Stephen F. Reitman thanked Vineberg and Stotland for their “invaluable” leadership and guidance at the company.

“At this juncture, we are very fortunate to be welcoming three talented and intelligent leaders to our team,” he said in a release.

“With a diverse range of expertise and business experience, these individuals represent a new generation of board members whose perspectives will help guide the future of our company as a true omnichannel retailer.”
