About the Role

The Senior Photo Producer will lead and manage the development of all Gap Specialty and Gap Outlet monthly/seasonal and Collaboration shoots for Gap Global marketing photography and video.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee production of all Gap Marketing photo shoots while adhering to time & budget parameters

  • Manage a team of Photo Producers.

  • Partner with Creative, Marketing and Styling teams to create, plan and execute creative vision and strategy for each shoot.

  • Oversee logistics and the scheduling of photo shoots by negotiating rates and times with all participating talent and vendors. Includes: booking of all talent including but not limited to production agencies, casting director, photographers, video crews, set designers, editors and music licensing.

  • Owner of Pre-Production Meetings.

  • Act as the main point person – establish clear lines of communication and troubleshoot any issues that arise on-set to ensure a smooth flow from behind the scenes to onset

  • Attend photo shoots and manage all on-set production as needed. This includes organizing flow of shoot, ensuring accuracy with samples/outfits, communicating specifics of each shot to CD/AD/photographer, determining backgrounds/set designs, and managing freelance support

  • Anticipate and resolve issues, including last-minute changes due to business needs, location, talent, or weather issues by utilizing appropriate resources

  • Manage the delivery of all still and video raw assets to the asset manager (both on-figure and special laydown photography)

  •  Create, communicate, and manage image markups schedule with photo art directors and retouching schedule with production. Manage Video post-production process and vendors.

  • Manage and renew usage rights of all Gap imagery with the agents of the original photographers and models

  • Owner of the Annual Marketing Photo Budget.

  • Manage shoot budgets and be a strong negotiator. Prepare estimates, maintain up-to-date annual forecasts, negotiate rates, and reconcile billing and contracts.

  • Summarize and critique monthly forecast opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising creative direction

  • Highly critical thinking self-motivator who can assess current processes to constantly identify efficiencies and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Research, establish, and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of diverse industry contacts including creative artists, model agencies, and vendors.

  • Have a future thinking mindset and be knowledgeable of new photo technologies and industry trends. Challenge self and team to see new possibilities and encourage creative innovation.

  • Maintain strong relationships with brand business partners and external partners to align on seasonal projects and marketing content.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years-experience producing photo shoots both in-studio and on-location Knowledge of Video post-production processes.

  • 10+ years’ experience in model/talent sourcing and booking and production relating to photo shoots (usage, contracts, location searches, permits, location vehicles, catering etc.)

  • Ability and willingness to travel. 

  • •Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Works well under multiple deadline pressure

  • High level of professionalism and self-motivated. 

  • Proficient with software applications such as Office, AirTable, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and ability to       learn new tools.
