Developed and tested at two leading Philadelphia Universities this 6-course program offers draping, drafting, and sample-making skills through practical, hands-on experience. Students are able to immediately apply these skills on the job, in a home based business, or for personal sewing needs. Students learn how to fit others while making clothing that fits them. The program can be completed in less than a year if both 3-hour Saturday morning and afternoon classes are taken simultaneously. Most students prefer to take the courses over a 2-year period as the courses are intense. Courses may be taken out of sequence.
