Kenneth Cole Productions Inc. and Marcolin have renewed the licensing agreement in place for the design, manufacturing, production, and distribution of Kenneth Cole's optical offerings through December 2021. The two companies began their partnership in 2003, and it was set to expire next year in 2016. Ahead of the expiration, they went ahead and renewed the agreement.

“We are pleased to be continuing our long-standing partnership and further build upon the success of our business with Marcolin, a global leader in the eyewear category,” said Kenneth Cole Productions’ chief executive officer Marc Schneider to WWD. “Marcolin’s strength in the international eyewear market further supports our strategic global marketing initiatives.”

Marcolin is also the company behind the manufacturing and distribution of eyewear for Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci, and DSquared. Recently, they also renewed their agreement with Montblanc.
