L Brands reports 8 percent rise in September sales

L Brands reported net sales of 919.9 million dollars for the five weeks ended October 3, 2015, an increase of 8 percent. This is in comparison to net sales of 853.5 million dollars for the five weeks ended October 4, 2014. Comparable store sales increased 9 percent for the period under review.
The company reported net sales of 7.023 billion dollars for the 35 weeks ended October 3, 2015, an increase of 5 percent compared to net sales of 6.685 billion dollars for the same period last year. Comparable store sales increased 5 percent for the 35 weeks period.
