British designer Stella McCartney aims to add new retail locations to the existing store portfolio. The move comes after the company reported 11 percent rise in sales to 31.6 million pounds (48.2 million dollars) and increase in profit before tax to 5.6 million pounds (8.5 million dollars) for the year ended December 31, 2014.

Part of the Kering, the luxury goods company that also owns Gucci, Christopher Kane and Alexander McQueen, there are 30 standalone Stella McCartney stores, and the label also sells in more than 70 countries worldwide, with other markets driving higher sales compared to the UK market. The company opened new stores in Madrid in Spain, Beijing and Chengdu in China and Palo Alto in the US last year.

The designer showcased her Spring/Summer 2016 collection of wearable designs at the Paris Fashion Week on Monday. She described her latest collection at the Paris runway as being influenced by the idea of an artist and their muse.
