London - Bottega Veneta has decided to permanently show its women's wear and men's wear together in two annual events, following its debut coed show in honour of the luxury brand\s 50th anniversary this September.

As of 2017, the Italian fashion house will present its women's and men's collections during Milan women's wear fashion weeks in February and September. The decision is said to be a "natural evolution" of its combined Spring/Summer 2017 fashion show. "The Bottega Veneta universe is built on both genders," said the company in a statement. "As a consequence, showing both women and men together is an organic move that follows the evolution of Tomas Maier’s creative vision."

The decision sees Bottega Veneta following in the footsteps of fellow Kering held fashion house Gucci, which previously decided to present unified women's wear and men's wear collection each season in April as part of its creative director's Alessandro Michele wider vision for the brand.
