Cole Haan is reinterpreting their classic penny loafer for their fall 2015 collection. A new collection titled the "Pinch Campus" collection is all about a new era of innovation and style craft at Cole Haan. While it is a classic pinch penny loafer, the updated shoe is meant to have a fresher feel to it with a longer vamp, storm welt, and an all-rubber outsole.

The name Pinch refers to the techniques cobblers use to pinch the leather as it is sewn together. The same craftsmanship is applied to Cole Haan's new collection. The title for the new campaign shot by Christian Hogstedt is "The New Class", and it features a range of models from all age ranges meant to represent professors and students on a college campus.

The campaign also appears to be an attempt at courting the elusive millennial customer. It has a clear collegiate feel to it going after that preppy and stylish customer. The millennial generation is the new market that many fashion labels at a higher than average price point are looking to court into their stores this year as they seem to be a rare and elusive customer for them.

For women, the shoe will be offered in a variety of colors including deep forest, blazer blue, crimson, black, black with ivory, and tan with ivory. For men, the she will be offered in deep forest, blazer blue, crimson, and black. The shoes are available on colehaan.com and retail for 140 dollars.
