The Government of Saskatchewan and tentree International Inc. are pleased to announce an upcoming project in one of Saskatchewan’s largest provincial parks. The details of this partnership will be unveiled at Saskatchewan Fashion Week. Tentree, a local Regina clothing company, plants ten trees for every item they sell.

This focus on social and environmental sustainability fits the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport’s mandate to preserve and protect the natural environment and delicate ecosystems within our provincial parks.

“We are incredibly excited about this partnership with tentree,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Mark Docherty said. “This project is the first of its kind in our provincial parks, is a perfect match with our mandate and we know it will have a lasting impact.”

"We've been quietly working away on something very near and dear to our brand,” tentree Creative Director Arthur Kononuk said. “The partnership with SaskParks along with local support has turned an idea we had into a project we never imagined possible."

The full project will be revealed on Thursday, May 12 at tentree’s inaugural showing at Saskatchewan Fashion Week. Tickets can be purchased at www.saskfashionweek.com. The Fashion Week website will also feature a live stream stream beginning at 7 p.m. that night.
