Gucci has rolled out its redesigned website to Korea and Japan. Gucci's site first made its redeveloped debut last October in the United States, and the brand has been slowly rolling it out to other countries.

The new Gucci.com was redeveloped under the direction of creative director Alessandro Michele. The updates to the site are meant to offer more interaction between content and e-commerce functions. This compliments Gucci's editorial section The Agenda, which gives insight to the world of the Florentine-based luxury fashion house.

In addition to the United States, Korea, and Japan, the site has also been rolled out to Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia. The new site is also designed to be more mobile responsive. Gucci has revealed that 60 percent of their site traffic comes from mobile smartphones.

Everything Michele seems to touch at Gucci appears to turn to gold. The Financial Times reported that Gucci saw a 6.9 percent increase on a comparable basis than a year earlier for the three months that just ended in June. Gucci is still in their turnaround phase, but Michele's approach is working.
