American lifestyle brand Jos. A. Bank, known for their moderately priced quality merchandise, has introduced custom suiting to their reserve and 1905 brands. With the launch of both programs, this enables the company to provide customers with the option to personalize their suits, sport coats, trousers, vests and formalwear with custom details in sizes ranging from slim, tailored, and traditional fits.

Reserve is the highest end of their tailoring program, featuring moldable half-canvas chest pieces and a natural sloping shoulder for an elevated silhouette. The custom suiting program offers over 100 fabric choices from Italian mills, and everything is made in the USA. Reserve pieces start at 1198 dollars.

For customers looking for a traditional custom experience with modern elements, 1905 custom garments offer details like custom lining or for an additional charge, pick stitching and ticket pockets. There are over 60 fabrics to select from to create a tailored piece with a collegiate, youthful spirit. The 1905 custom tailored pieces start at 698 dollars.

"We are very excited to offer a custom experience that completes our lifestyle brand," says Mary Beth Blake, brand president of Jos. A. Bank. "We felt this was the natural progression for our iconic heritage brand that has been dressing American men for over 100 years."

Both Reserve and 1905 custom programs are available at Jos. A. Bank stores nationwide. All pieces arrive within four weeks from the order date.

With made-to-measure and custom suiting options becoming a larger share of the men's market, Jos. A. Bank will be facing some stiff competition, as they have launched their program later than some other brands. However, their more moderate pricing will attract customers looking for custom pieces at more affordable prices.

During the month of June FashionUnited will focus on the menswear catwalk season. For all reads, click here.
