New York - Karl Lagerfeld has had a career spanning over sixty years. The designer is now famous for being the artistic director for Chanel, Fendi, and his own eponymous label. Arguably one of the greatest living legends among fashion designers, a box of sketching pencils has always been right by his side. After all, who knows when he will be inspired to create the next look for his Fendi or Chanel runway shows.

Now, the designer has collaborated with Faber-Castell for Karlbox, a large collection of tools and supplies for sketched that comes in a box inspired by a Chinese wedding chest.

The limited-edition set will go on sale September 1 at Faber-Castell stores and Karl Lagerfeld boutiques. It will roll out to department stores on September 19. The price point for the box is 2500 euros or 2825 dollars at current exchange.

Faber-Castell was founded in 1761 in Stein, Germany. The company bills itself as the world's largest pencil manufacturer, producing more than 2 billion pencils a year. The firm generates about 577 million euros a year according to their website.
