Hot off the Fall/Winter 2015-16 catwalks comes an array of inspiring and directional new prints, updating menswear with forward looks for the upcoming season. We see a focus on interior inspirations, along with subtle plays on tone and minimal takes on classic styles. Sourced from the fashion capitals of London, Milan and Paris, discover the best-selling print and pattern trends of F/W15 for the Contemporary and Young Fashion sectors, and see how they can improve your new season collections. As part of Trendstop.com's partnership with FashionUnited, the Trendstop trend experts reveal a sneak peek at Arabian Interiors, a key Contemporary print for F/W15-16.

Arabian Interiors

Menswear prints look to the East for Fall/Winter, transforming interior-inspired patterns with hints of Arabian exoticism. We see upholstery-style surfaces play with scale, executed with ornate designs and tactile fabrics across men's apparel and accessories. This trend was especially influential on the Paris runways, as seen in F/W15-16 collections by Kenzo, Louis Vuitton and Walter Van Beirendonck.

Other interpretations mix Arabian motifs with ikat patterns, or apply placement stripes to create a culture clash of prints. Bold pops of winter brights can also be used to add a statement touch to dark seasonal colourways. This print trend updates F/W 2015-16 tops, sweaters and outerwear with a modern East-meets-West appeal.
