Could it be? Is it possible? Is New York Fashion Week about to be made great again? Moschino, led by creative director Jeremy Scott, has announced they will be showing their women’s spring 2022 collection on September 9 in an undisclosed location.

This isn’t the first time the brand has show in New York. In 2019, Moschino showed their pre-fall collection at the New York Transit Museum. Creative director Jeremy Scott already has a strong following and attendance record for shows for his eponymous label at New York Fashion Week. In October 2018, Moschino also held a show for its H&M collaboration at Pier 36 in New York.

When CFDA announced that physical shows would be taking place for New York Fashion Week, it was a celebration of good times as many former attendees missed the hustle and bustle of the event. It was also announced the Met Gala would be closing out New York Fashion Week this season, which is certain to bring back A-list celebrity presence to New York Fashion Week. The September iteration of NYFW is scheduled to take place from September 8 to September 12.

Confirmed designers staging shows so far include Gabriela Hearst, Pyer Moss, Markarian, and Jonathan Simkhai. Rebecca Minkoff, who was one of the few designers hosting shows before New York further reopened, has also confirmed she will be returning to the calendar.
