After New York, London, Milan, and Paris, there’s Los Angeles. The City of Angels kicked off its Spring/Summer 2020 Fashion Week on Oct. 8 at the Petersen Automotive Museum. This year’s theme focuses on “Cars and Fashion,” using the Automotive Museum, along with its iconic cars, as the backdrop for fashion shows.
Featuring up-and-coming emerging fashion designers from around the LAFW S/S 2020 opened with a show filled with dresses, evening gowns, suits, and more by Noe Bernacelli, a young designer dubbed as the “Peruvian Valentino,” according to the emcee of the night.
With a collection of delicately beaded gowns, beautifully flowing silks, intricately embroidered imagery, and more, Bernacelli’s Spring/Summer 2020 show kicks off LA Fashion Week on a high note.
LA Fashion Week also celebrated its launch with an evening featuring select designers such as Paris Yin, a luxury handbag designer, Korean shoe label Lower, and others.
