The Nike Factory store in Seattle dealt with a little extra chaos this year. On Black Friday, the store was swamped with shoppers who seemingly left the store trashed.

The store that suffered these damages was located at the Seattle Premium Outlets. On November 27, the location was left with the floor covered in opened and mix-matched shoe boxes. According to BuzzFeed, over 20,000 people came into the shop on Black Friday, which explains the mass chaos that ensued. The mess caused a reaction on social media that ended up going viral.

It’s unclear why this store in particular was trashed in comparison to Nike’s other locations. It was clear that Nike would have great deals for the day, however, the mess was beyond overwhelming. Many shoppers contributed to the mess by not putting back shoes properly after trying them on.

This issue caused a social media backlash against Black Friday. Although the shopping day is an American tradition, it might be time to start reconsidering the methods of the day.
