Target is drastically expanding its womenswear portfolio. The retailer is set to introduce three new labels of lingerie and sleepwear, each aimed at different consumer bases.

To best determine how to offer consumers the lingerie options they want, the Target team met with hundreds of women between the ages of 16 and 54, asking what elements of intimates line work and where the retailer can improve. Previously, only one of Target's intimate ranges went up to a size 46DDD. With the introduction of its new labels, shoppers will be able to purchase sizes up to 46G online.

The new line Auden features expansive sizes and styles in both bras and underwear, offering 40 and 50 different styles, respectively, in sizing from a 32AA to 46G. The Stars Above line of pajamas includes 125 pieces across size from XS to 4X. And Target's trend-focused line Colsie, aimed at Gen Z shoppers, includes both loungewear and intimates, ranging from size XS to 3X.

"We’re offering a more extensive size range than ever before so we can meet the needs of our guests," Jill Sando, Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager, Apparel and Accessories and Home at Target, told Glamour. "We’ll also continue to listen to our guests and make adjustments based on their feedback."

She continued, "We’re always looking for ways to make our brands more inclusive and celebratory of all body types. Within intimates and sleepwear specifically, what our guests are looking for has continued to evolve. Now, more than ever, they want to feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies."
