Online fashion and lifestyle publication Goop is launching a pop-up market in New York, which will showcase an exclusive collaboration with Valentino.

Paltrow, who founded Goop in 2008 and is its chief creative officer, worked with the firm Roman and Williams to create an interior mood of “downtown, uptown with handmade custom furniture and accessories that create unexpected juxtapositions in a high-touch loft setting,” according to the press release.

The Valentino collaboration is called Wonder Woman, which features the work of Roman street artist Solo, who often uses comic book characters in his art. “Our idea was to do something that can play with fashion and pieces that are a little punk and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll in attitude. It helps women mix together things that can be fine and fun,” Valentino's creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri stated.

The 24 piece capsule collection features items such as an embroidered leather jacket for 6,950 dollars and 8,900 dollars for a dress in the same motif.

The Wonder Woman Valentino capsule is a preview of what will be in the brand’s stores globally in April.

The pop-up opens from 23 November to Christmas Eve at the Time Warner Centre in New York. For more information go to www.goop.com.
