Justin O'Shea is set to leave his role as Creative Director at Italian fashion house Brioni.

His sudden departure comes mere months after he was appointed in March this year and sees the designer handing in his papers. He succeeded Brendan Mullane at Brioni and was meant to lead the fashion house shift towards the 'See Now, Buy Now' business model.

Brioni revealed to Business of Fashion that his debut Autumn/Winter 2017 collection will be showcased in the Milan showroom from mid-November onward. Gianluca Flore, CEO of Brioni thanked O'Shea for his brief time at the fashion house in a statement. "The strategy of revitalisation of Brioni that started at the beginning of this year is set to continue being implemented through a long-term plan aimed to further establish the brand as a leader in the luxury menswear category," added the fashion house.

After joining the label in April, at his first show in July, O’Shea presented a new Brioni line-up that included a single-button jacket with broader shoulders, silk shirts and ties with thick double Windsor knots. He also gave a new modern look to the brand’s logo.

O’Shea had moved to Brioni from the online retailer Mytheresa.com, where he held the position of fashion director. O’Shea, 38 years old of Australian origin, started his career in retail companies based in Australia and the Netherlands followed by two years of fashion wholesale in the United Kingdom.
