Speedo USA names John Graham as new president

Swimwear brand Speedo USA recently just made a new change in its executive staff. Taking over Jim Gerson’s spot from earlier this year, John Graham has been named as the company’s new president.

Graham’s promotion was announced on October 19 by PVH Corp., Speedo USA’s parent company. As no stranger to the company, Graham previously served as the brand’s senior vice president of sales. Previously Graham worked as senior vice president of sales for surf and sports retailer Quiksilver. During his time at the apparel brand, he oversaw a sales team of 160 people and focused on wholesale and e-commerce in North America. “John brings a depth of experience in the sports industry to Speedo USA, and we are thrilled to have him lead the business,” Ken Duane, CEO, Heritage Brands and North American Wholesale of PVH, said in a statement.

In his new role, effective immediately, he will work on team building as well as strengthening the company with his past experience. As Speedo USA is highly regarded as a swimwear brand in the U.S., it seems that Graham will be able to propel the company forward in its endeavor successfully. In accepting the role, Graham said in a statement that he is “honored to lead Speedo USA and look forward to what’s ahead.”
