AYR opens pop-up on Abbot Kinney in Venice

Through the brand's website, AYR has made an announcement. The U.S.-based brand confirmed that it would be opening a shop on Abbot Kinney in Venice Beach temporarily until April.

The contemporary label also has a pop-up currently on the Upper East Side, creating a bi-coastal presence for the brand. The New York shop opened up on Lexington Avenue, now putting the brand's retail count to two. Although both shops are only open temporarily, they show the company's willingness to test out retail locations. The Los Angeles shop opened specifically due the founder's desire to open a shop on the West Coast.

Founded in 2014, the label, which stands for "All Year Round" creates timeless pieces for all seasons. The company's studio is based in downtown New York City with its denim manufactured in Los Angeles. According to the brand's website, it seems AYR is available to customers in the U.S. only as it stated "we ship directly to you, everywhere in between," in regards to their studio and denim factory. The new flagship will serve as a temporary boutique for customers to try on apparel in-store, as opposed to the e-commerce site.
