Designer independent concept Dover Street Market is reportedly in advanced talks to relocate to Burberry’s former headquarters in Haymarket in London’s West End, according to Property Week.

The luxury fashion retail store owned by Rei Kawakubo of Japanese brand Comme de Garçons currently occupies 17-18 Dover Street, owned by Lord Alan Sugar’s property company Amsprop, but the publication is reporting that following a rent review that the concept store was looking to relocate.

Sticking with a property owned by Amsprop, the move would see the retailer taking up a 33,000 square foot unit at 18-22 Haymarket, which Burberry vacated in 2009.

There has been no official comment from Dover Street Market or Amsprop on the relocation.
