Fabletics plans store expansion for this year

The activewear brand Fabletics by Kate Hudson announced that it will be opening a new location. The first store will be in Los Angeles and open this September.

The e-commerce brand has decided to expand through brick-and-mortar shops this year. The first store will open at the The Village at Westfield Topanga. It will be the brand’s official SoCal store and will actively open September 17. The store will be the first of a series of store openings for this year. The activewear brand struck a deal with General Growth Properties Inc. and Westfield ensuring the company’s retail expansion. The stores will all range from 1,400 to 2,200 square feet according to WWD. The first three stores will open across the U.S. in New Jersey, California, and Maryland in September. Later this year, the brand will open in Missouri and Ohio.

Fabletics is an online retail brand that sells gymwear and activewear. Brought to fruition by co-founder Kate Hudson, the brand is teamed with parent company JustFab. So far, the company has 245,000 VIP members within its online community. Fabletics have sold 1.5 million items and 425,000 outfits since its establishment earlier this year. JustFab was founded in 2010 and continues to engage over 35 million members worldwide. JustFab sells brands such as ShoeDazzle, FabKids, and Fabletics. The brand is currently offered in the US, the UK, Germany, Canada, France, and Spain.

Fabletics
