Guess and LA-based retailer Fred Segal have announced a special project inspired by the nostalgia trend, the increasing popularity of secondhand fashion, and consumers’ concerns about sustainability. Guess bought back over 150 vintage Guess pieces, including jeans, denim jackets, T-shirts, sweatshirts and leather jackets, which will be sold exclusively at Fred Segal on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

Sean Wotherspoon, co-founder of cult men’s boutique Round Two, was tapped to select the pieces Guess would buy back and resell. Commenting on the initiative, Nicolai Marciano, Director of Brand Partnerships at Guess, said in a statement: “With the explosion of vintage culture over the past decade, Sean and I wanted to join our community in the celebration of Guess archival pieces that have stood the test of time”.

The vintage assortment will be available from April 10 through April 29. Customers will be able to customize their purchases using dead-stock vintage T-shirt blanks from the 80s and 90s Guess archives.
