Swedisch Fast Fashion giant H&M celebrated a special anniversary this week, namely the opening of its 500th store in North America, located at the Dolphin Mall in Miami.

More than 500 customers and fashionistas queued up to celebrate the milestone and to be the first ones to get a sneak peek at the new store and shop of course. Actress and model Jamie King was present to cut the ribbon and thus officially inaugurated the new flagship store.

“Dolphin Mall is one of the most vibrant shopping destinations in the US,” said Daniel Kulle, president of H&M USA. “It's an important retail center that draws thousands of local customers and international visitors each year. We are so excited to be opening our 500th store in North America here and thrilled to have Jaime King cut the ribbon.”

The 33,000 square feet-store offers collections for men, women and children (from newborns to 14 years) as well as apparel for those in between, young men and women from 14 years of age to adulthood. In addition, there are separate areas, so-called "stores within a store" that sell accessories, lingerie and beauty products.
