H&M, Zara, and Forever 21 are in constant battle for who will be the fast-fashion brand that will get to conquer planet Earth. Recently, H&M revealed its new plan for winning the fast-fashion battle. For the period between June 1 to August 31, H&M's sales grew 19 percent, bringing them in at roughly 5.5 billion dollars. The brand's current plans for expansion include opening 3 stores a day and adding H&M Beauty to more stores.

H&M Beauty launched 700 locations in July, and appears to be selling well. In terms of retail store expansion, they have opened their first stores in Macau, a small peninsula in mainland China, during the quarter, and they also have plans to open more brick-and-mortar locations in India and South Africa. They are also hoping to open online shops in Switzerland and Russia. By 2016, H&M is hoping to have e-commerce stores Ireland, Japan, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Luxembourg.

H&M's global store count comes to 3,675. H&M has also said that they are "looking into launching other concepts and brands." Currently, H&M operates their original H&M line, COS, & Other Stories, Monki, and Weekday.
