Summer is getting incredibly close. With the increasing temperature comes an adjustment in wardrobe options. The Canada Goose parkas and Ugg boots can finally be tucked away until next winter, and now it’s time to start preparing your wardrobe for the spring and vacation season. Havaianas already has their customers covered with their debut of a new line of sandals last week.

While a lot of brands are looking at doing the next big thing or elevating their brand to a higher level, Havaianas has actually decided to take a step back and give their customers something down played. This summer, the brand will be introducing a “Flat” collection. The sandal is an edited take on their classic flip-flop, and features a shorter and “flatter” strap.

The price point for the sandals is between 18 dollars and 22 dollars (a perfect price point for those who will start building their summer vacation wardrobes from the most affordable things first.) It’s a lower price point from the traditional 30 dollar price tag, and the company hopes that this will help attract a younger consumer. The sandals will be offered in five different styles including metallic, ombré, “print blocking,” animal prints, and solids (which will come in 30 colors.)

While there is a whole new idea behind this line, the sandals will still feature Havaianas famous rice-patterned sole. The collection is now available in stores and online at Kohl’s and PacSun, and of course at Havaianas own retail locations and havaianas.com. Increasing temperatures are sure to lead to increased sandal sales, so Havaianas revenue numbers have a promising few months ahead of them.
