Kohl’s is taking its reach to the masses in further by expanding its partnership with Amazon. The American retailer announced on Tuesday that all Kohl’s stores will be accepting returns for Amazon customers.
Kohl’s and Amazon first partnered together in 2017, when the companies launched the pilot program for Amazon Returns. Currently, the returns program is only operating in 100 Kohl’s stores in the Los Angeles, Chicago and Milwaukee markets. Come July, the program will be available across the country in 48 states at all locations.
Amazon Returns allows customers to return eligible Amazon.com products to local Kohl’s locations, free of charge. From there, Kohl’s will package and send all returned merchandise to the Amazon return centers on behalf of the customer.
“…This unique partnership unique partnership combines Kohl’s strong nationwide store footprint and omnichannel capabilities with Amazon’s reach and customer loyalty,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief executive officer.
By expanding Amazon Returns nationwide, Kohl’s continues to solidify its relationship with the digital e-commerce giant. The retailer also recently announced that it will be carrying Amazon products in over 200 stores.
