London-based designer Molly Goddard is stepping into a new facet of retail this month. The ready-to-wear designer has officially confirmed adding e-commerce to her site.

The reason Goddard has finally chosen to bring an e-commerce aspect to her brand is to reach a broader audience. Currently, the brand is available in selected specialty stores in London, Los Angeles, and various Nordstrom locations. However, offering the collection through her site creates a more seamless experience for the customer.

On why waiting to offer e-commerce options in buying at first, Goddard stated she wanted to build the brand initially without it. “We wanted to wait to sell online so that people could begin to see and touch the clothes first," she told WWD. Launching the e-commerce now, it seems that Goddard has moved her pieces to online offering nine pieces currently. Ranging up to approximately 1,782 in price, the ready-to-wear line is now available on her website.
