Prana confirms opening for The Point

Prana, activewear apparel brand, is opening a new location later this year. The new store will officially open in September at the lifestyle retail center The Point in El Segundo.

This will serve as the company’s first store based in Los Angeles. Other locations for the brand are based in cities around the US such as San Francisco, Portland, and Denver. Although the Los Angeles store doesn’t open until September, the retail haven will open at the end of this month. The official opening date for The Point is next Thursday on July 30.

The Point started development earlier this year around May. The potential space so far has confirmed tenants such as Lucky Brand, SoulCycle, Planet Blue, and more. The fresh plaza will comprise of other retailers, restaurants and entertainment options as well. The collection of regional shops include local and national brands. The total space will occupy over 115,000 square feet.

The Southern Californian-based brand includes workout gym apparel, travelwear, accessories, and swimwear. The brand carries both menswear and womenswear. Founded in 1993, Prana has made a name for its label for reflecting an active lifestyle. Their clothes are meant for those who actively participate in yoga, pilates, running, hiking, and etc. Their average price ranges approximately around 35 dollars. The maximum price tops out at around 169 dollars for a woven jacket.
