Los Angeles - Loho Bride, San Francisco-based bridal shop, is expanding to SoCal. The retailer recently announced that it will be opening a new flagship in Los Angeles.

The new boutique will open off of Melrose in order to help build out local business. Surrounding the store will be other high-end fashion brands such as A.P.C. and The Row. Loho Bride originally opened its San Francisco space about a year ago. After finding out the retailer had fans from L.A., Loho decided it was time to move the business down south. “The goal is to get our feet wet in L.A….and then to reopen in San Francisco,” founder of the brand Christy Baird told WWD. The San Francisco boutique boasts 500 square feet. The re-open of the location will be somewhere new, as the storefront currently remains as an active showroom. Opening a new store in L.A. will be a transition for Loho Bride but hopefully a fruitful decision for the retailer.

Currently, the brand has lines from designers Bo & Luca, Cortana, Elise Hameau, A La Robe, and more. The label, which acronym stands for “League of her own,” was founded by Baird as a ready-to-wear bridal brand with comfortable, classic and flowy wedding gowns. In addition to the new location, in the upcoming year the brand will also focus on more ready-to-wear, accessories, and e-commerce.
