Danish fashion company By Malene Birger announced its key figures over last year until 30th

of June 2010. The label was responsible for a turnover of 26,2 million Euros. The latest collection for AW10 received positive responses and the preorders increased with 31% in comparison to last year.

The brand’s is expanding further more with the opening of new franchise stores in key markets around the world. Currently By Malene Birger counts 18 franchise/retail boutiques including a new store opening in Moscow, and in Malmo, later this month.

Malene Birger graduated from Denmark’s Design School and worked with labels such as Jackpot by Carli Gry and Marc O’Polo. She returned to Denmark and opened her first By Malene Birger boutique in 2006.
