Dresp wins PREMIUM Young Designers Award in the Activewear category

For the first time, a German label has won in the PREMIUM Young Designers Award Activewear category. Unconventional draping and shapes are what makes Dresp’s sporty collection suitable for everyday wear. Founded in 2015 by Sandra Dresp, the label combines activewear, bodywear and swimwear with elements of high-fashion.

The woman behind the label, Sandra Dresp, made it her mission back in May 2015 to find a solution for women faced with the everyday struggle of having to choose between sportswear and looking good. In her collection silk, leather and metal meet, geometry initiates a dialogue with flowing shapes, elegance melts into functionality – essentially: fitness apparel meets casualwear.

The fusion of sensuality and technology is also the main theme of her S/S 2017 collection, which combines the beauty of French lingerie with Scandinavian minimalism and an edgy sportswear style. Figure-hugging silhouettes, cut outs, a generous helping of black and individual touches of colour are at the heart of Dresp’s design. The collection is rounded off with thin elasticated bands, which offer support, and breathable materials that quickly wick away moisture.

Through functional cuts, carefully chosen materials, quality finishing and sensual design, the brand has created clothing that has been perfectly crafted for a range of sporting activities. Smart seam placement, particularly around the crotch area, ensures greater comfort and chafing-free exercise.

Design, development and a large share of production takes place in Germany whilst the quality materials used to manufacture the items are sourced from Italy. Every collection includes a selection of bras, leggings, tops, shorts and jackets.
