Moncler has collaborated with contemporary sportswear label Off-White for a men's collection that will launch this fall.

The line, called "Moncler O," was conceived by Off-White's founder Virgil Aboh who founded the brand in 2014. The inspiration for the line was fishermen in the Northern Seas. Traditional waxed jackets inspired the anoraks with multiple pockets, while inspiration from traditional British Navy uniforms from the 17th-century was used for oversized pants crafted in waterproof double cotton with elasticated drawstring waists.

The line, which is a fusion of both sports wear and high-fashion technicality, also includes padded jackets with detachable hoods, vests inspired by life jackets, and lightweight parkas. Patterns featured include ones representing stormy skies, and of course Off-White's signature diagonal stripes. The Moncler logo is featured on a yellow silicon version.

“Moncler is a brand I admire for its history and what it represents in the myriad brands based in outerwear and fashion,” said Abloh to WWD. “My inspiration comes from storytelling. The chance to tell a story via individual pieces of clothing is a powerful tool I believe in.”

Price points for the line range from 420 dollars for a t-shirt to 3800 dollars for a parka. The line will be unveiled on July 12 at Moncler's boutique in SoHo. The collection will be available in stores worldwide and on Moncler.com beginning in September.
