Designer and top celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe is collaborating with eBay for a print that will appear on a selection of backpacks. The two limited-edition "Americana" prints will be available on September 9 for 45 dollars, with the proceeds going toward Zoe's chosen charity Save the Children.

Customers will also be able to vote for their favorite print beginning August 30 on Twitter.com/ebay, but each print will still be produced.

The partnership is part of eBay's "Summer of Choice" campaign which lets people in America vote on their choice of fashion, technology, and home goods.

“One of the best parts of my job is empowering people to make choices that reflect their personal style,” Zoe said. “I am equally thrilled that we are able to give back to children in need — a cause that is very close to my heart.”

Voting before goods are sold has become a thing for some e-tailers in an effort to connect with consumer while reducing waste and maximizing production value.

The summer, eBay will be taking votes on items for the Olympics, Labor Day, and for backpacks.

This isn't eBay's first time working with Rachel Zoe. In 2013, the two collaborated for a partnership with CFDA where Zoe designed a leopard print USB bracelet.

Zoe has been big into the collaborations lately. Several weeks ago, she launched a capsule collection with Net-a-Porter retailing between 195 dollars and 595 dollars. Many of the items are already low stock or sold out in certain sizes. She's one of those people who can put her name on anything and watch it sell, so eBay is looking to have a money maker on their hands with these backpacks.
