Los Angeles - Luxury basics brand Cotton Citizen has finally arrived on Melrose Place. Known for premium t-shirts and elevated apparel, the Los Angeles-based brand just opened its first retail store on the strip.

In April, the brand confirmed to Racked LA that it would be opening a bricks-and-mortar store soon. The company, which established itself four years ago, told the publication that it was planning to open a location soon. The store spans 600 square feet, and opened its doors this past weekend. The store’s interior is meant to showcase the brand’s colorful and unique aspects. “We have a dye house. We want to focus [and showcase] that,” founder of the brand Adam Vanunu told WWD. Cotton Citizen is known for its premium denim with rich hues and denim-influenced dye processes. In this flagship, it’s clear that the brand will be showcasing its signature process through as a concept and retail store.

Made in Los Angeles, the premium basics and fashion brand was founded in 2011. Each garment made is individually processed and hand-crafted, utilizing its unique dye-process. Emphasizing timeless design, innovative washes, and craftsmanship; Cotton Citizen sells both women’s and men’s apparel. Pieces range in price from approximately 65 to 350 dollars. Currently, the brand is retailed in various stores internationally.
