For those of us on the editors side of the fashion world, actually for those of us who are anything except buyers, there is going to be a waiting time before we get to see the Calvin Klein spring/summer 2017 collection.

Creative Director Raf Simons has decided that since he and his design team weren't behind the collection that will be unveiled to the select few next week, only buyers will be seeing the last collection that doesn't have his name tied to it. It has not been disclosed what collection the buyers are reviewing. Traditionally, a Calvin Klein Collection show is done during New York Fashion Week, but due to the departure of Francisco Costa as women's designer and Simons just stepping into his new role as creative director, a runway show was foregone this season.

Simons' first collection for Calvin Klein will bow for fall/winter 2017. Until then, editors will have to wait in the barracks with everyone else as we wonder what Calvin Klein will be unveiling to the world for spring/summer 2017.
